Tout Monde Award Winners

During the Tout-Monde Closing Ceremony, the Tout-Monde Jury, chaired by Franklin Sirmans, Director of the PAMM, and composed of art professionals and academics such as Maria Elena Aguayo, Director for Interinstitutional Relations at the Centro Leon, Dominican Republic, Tatiana Flores, Professor at Rutgers, art critic and independent curator, Erica Moiah James, Assistant Professor at University of Miami, independent curator, art critic at Small Axe and founding director of the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas, Valérie Loichot, Professor at Emory University and Author and expert on Edouard Glissant, Julie Abalain, Director for Development and Partnerships at Tropiques Atrium Martinique, offered two Tout-Monde Awards (two trophy sculptures created by Haitian-American artist Edouard Duval Carrié):

  • The Tout-Monde Award for Performing Arts, granting a two weeks residency at Miami Light Project for a choreographer or selected dancer, was received  by: the Mounka Company (Guadeloupe) for the dance performance “Biosphere” .
